Merry Christmas everyone!! We received a special gift from Mrs. Santa!
Early this morning while we were all asleep, Mrs. Santa brought us 9 little babies
Most precious babies Genna and Gurrie are hospitalized tonight recovering after a long day of meds, feedings and care. Today they each had surgery!
Genna had her eye wound repair for her injured eye, an abscess removal and wound debridement. Her eye may heal somewhat but her vision is impaired and she needs oral and topical antibiotics to help her heal. We need to wait to evaluate her eye in one more week. I am hopeful the eye can be saved. Otherwise Genna’s abscess surgery was very successful.
The Rabbit Haven just rescued 2 orphans about 12 to 14 day young from a local shelter. They both have cat bites and are critical. Please send positive thoughts and messages. They are at one of our baby sites for care.
Treating Kit #1: Deep teeth puncture wound.
Treating Kit #2: Smaller cat bite but very light weight. Very critical

Tennaya is a beautiful small white bunny. She was found under a bush trying to care for her new litter.
It is clear to us that this sweet mother bunny was abandoned out by this trail. She sought the only refuge she could find - It was cold and sadly several of her tiny ones did not survive. She did her best to keep them warm.
This loving bunny and her babies were rescued just in time by two very kind people, Jake and Kayla. They have a very small space which they happily shared with the mom and the four surviving babies.
